As we grew our vision and UPal began to solidify, we realized we needed to find a way to include tatreez because - well, how could we not?!

We needed to feel the essence of Palestine in our products, but we also felt that adding another element of new fashion wasn’t in line with our desire to find our way towards more sustainable options. While some things we have to and love to buy new, some “old” or “used” items are actually incredibly special and just need a little extra spice added in.

That’s where Handstitched with Love comes in, it gives new life to your beloved items!

Our sister Yara spent months working tirelessly to find Palestinian seamstresses who were interested in our vision and brand, eventually finding an incredible refugee community living in Jordan. Every seamstress elevates your piece with love and intention, weaving fibers of Palestinian tradition through her hands into your item.
